How to Pair a Smart Ring Key

Unlock your Tesla in seconds — no phone, no card, just a tap.

Step 1: Add Your Ring in Tesla App

Open the Tesla mobile app → Go to Controls > Locks → Tap Add Key.

Step 2: Pair Your Ring

Hold the ring against the Tesla key card reader (usually located on the driver’s side pillar). Wait until you see the confirmation on the screen.

Step 3: Confirm With Key Card

Use your original Tesla key card to confirm the pairing. Once confirmed, your smart ring is ready to use.

Step 4: Unlock & Drive

Simply touch the ring to the card reader to unlock the car. Place it near the center console to start driving.
